Nutrition Consultations

Nutrition Consultations in Denver, CO

How can we help you with your nutritional needs?

We recognize that when trying to achieve maximum overall health, assessing nutritional need is an important step within the process. There is no need to be anxious about visiting a nutritionist. We never want to judge or make you feel like you are doing something wrong. Instead of being lectured, we will have a beneficial and information rich conversation.

At Maximize Life Chiropractic, our goal is to make your nutrition counseling experience enjoyable and stress-free. We pay attention to your overall needs, help you set achievable goals, and take the time to establish an effective pathway to a healthier lifestyle!

Who Benefits from Nutrition Consulting?

Anyone can benefit from speaking with a nutritionist. Some people may need a radically different diet to achieve a healthier lifestyle. If you are looking to manage a medical condition, or just want some inspiration on new tasty meals, a nutritionist can provide a wealth of beneficial information.

The best time to schedule an appointment with a nutritionist is right after you have had a full checkup from your primary doctor. This will help assess your current medical condition and uncover any factors such as high blood sugar, high cholesterol, or blood pressure abnormalities.

There are many conditions that benefit from dietary consultation including:

  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Celiac disease
  • Obesity
  • Underweight
  • Pregnancy
  • High cholesterol
  • Allergies
  • Diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

What Can I Expect During My First Appointment?

For your first visit, we find out what your goals are. What are your reasons for speaking with a nutritionist? We will look over your medical history, and take note of the current medications and supplements you are taking. After that we create a profile based on stress levels, sleeping habits, levels of energy, exercise frequency and gastrointestinal function. One useful tip to give us as much information as possible is to compile a list of foods you ate and drank within the last 1-3 days, including snacks and meals. This will provide a guide for us to make the proper recommendations for you and assist you with your goals of healthier eating!

How Many Appointments Will I Need To Make?

The average number of visits our patients make is two to three. Usually that is enough to get you started on making some simple modifications to your current nutritional plan. Sometimes, patients feel they need a bit more accountability and so instead they schedule monthly sessions to stay on track. Setting an appointment a year or two after the first visit is also a common practice, so that the patient can be refreshed on what they need to accomplish as well as look back on all of the positive progress that has been accomplished.

Testimonials

Mrs. Brown

Sergio really knows his stuff. He can take care of all your needs, be it chiropractic, dry needling, graston, or ART. He takes the extra time to find the source of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms. With over 12 years of experience, it shows.

Ms. Schuette

We came to see Dr Rocafort because of an injury. To be honest i have never been with a doctor like him. He listen and answer all your questions, he gives you recommendations for treatment plans. In my humble opinion he is the best chiropractor that i have ever been in more than 25 years.
